Active Directory Migration Tool version 3.2 (ADMT v3.2)简化了在活动目录域服务环境中迁移对象和重构任务的流程。你可以使用ADMT v3.2在不同林或者相同的林中的AD DS域之间来迁移用户、组、服务帐号和计算机。你也可以在实施内部林迁移时使用 ADMT 来执行安全转换（迁移本地用户配置文件）。

不过需要注意的是， ADMT v3.2只能安装在Windows Server 2008 R2上，支持的源域的操作系统为Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, or Windows Server 2008 R2，支持的目标域操作系统为Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, or Windows Server 2008 R2。在源域中的ADMT agentADMT agent只能安装在Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008 R2上。
